This summer, Surfers Paradise will once again play host to the first round of the Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Ironman Series.
The event, which has been described as one of the most renowned physical challenges in the world, sees 36 of the country’s elite Surf Life Saving athletes go head to head in the most anticipated ocean based competition in Australia...expect a sandstorm!
The Ironman is comprised of 6 rounds in total, all of which will take place at iconic beaches across Australia, including Noosa Heads, Perth and Coolum. Each round has been carefully designed to test the athletes’ strength, skill, agility and speed and there are special ‘junior’ events for the under 17s to try out.
