Surfers Paradise has much more to offer than sun and sand; it’s also a creative cultural hub brimming with local talent. The city is home to a number of superb art galleries which showcase the works of both local and international artists. Here are just three must-visit galleries for art lovers staying at our Gold Coast family accommodation:

Gold Coast City Gallery
The Gold Coast City Gallery attracts an impressive one million visitors each year, and it is easy to see why the region’s premier art venue is so popular. The gallery exhibits a diverse selection of modern and historical works which perfectly capture the unique vibe of the Gold Coast. The beautiful riverside Evandale Sculpture walk which runs adjacent to the gallery gives visitors a chance to admire the work of talented local sculptors in a scenic outdoor environment.

The Arts Centre Gold Coast
Within easy reach of Centrepoint Resort, the Arts Centre Gold Coast plays host to a diverse range of visual and performance art, music and live comedy events. The Centre houses two cinemas which are dedicated to recently released foreign language and art house movies.

Sue Ellen Gallery and Antiques
Overflowing with an eclectic selection of vintage jewellery, antiques and artwork, the Sue Allen Gallery and Antiques Centre is located in chic Marina Mirage. After browsing the gallery, treat yourself to lunch in one of the nearby waterside restaurants.
