The 24th annual World Masters on the Gold Coast is rumoured to offer the very best golfing experience in Australia. From October 18th to the 20th Currumbin Creeks welcomes back Buskers by the Creek! A vibrant weekend with 14 stages and musical talent to marvel at. Singer-songwriters will o head to head to take the title of the most talented artist. As if that wasn’t enough, you can watch over 300 performers step up to entertain the crowds over the weekend.
From sword swallowing, african beats, samba dancing, acrobats, right through to comedy acts this is a weekend not to be missed. You’ll marvel at the skill and daring of the skilled BMX and skateboard enthusiasts take on the floating half pipe. An event that will leave you marvelling at the talent on display, it’s a weekend to remember at Currumbin Creek.
Fright Nights is back
Warner Bro’s Movie World hosts Fright Nights again this October, and you’ve never experienced anything quite like it. Not for the faint-hearted, your heart will race and the adrenalin will course through your veins as you try your best to escape the terrifying creatures and villains stalking crowds through the streets.
Only the bravest will step foot inside the 5 horror mazes where you’ll come face to face with Pennywise in the IT Maze, escape from Zombieland, meet Herman Shuster’s creations in the Doll Haus Maze, and run from Leatherface and battle your way out of the Kain Hotel. There are 4 horror precincts to survive, and of course you can jump on board the thrill rides which is a whole different experience at night time!
The Unicorn Festival
Get ready for magic, sparkles, and all of the colours of the rainbow! This heartwarming free event will make all of your unicorn dreams come true. With market stalls and show bags, arts and craft and makeovers guaranteed to have you sparkling. Pony rides, live entertainment and a unicorn themed kids disco plus a treasure hunt will have the kids smiling from ear to ear! The unicorn festival is not to be missed on the 19th and 20th of October.
